Ghorepani Poon hill trek is a short and relatively easy trek into the Annapurna region. This Ghorepani trek is suitable for those who do not have much time to spend and old people with a burning desire to observe the beauty of snow-capped mountains. Ghorepani Poon hill trekking is one of the famous trekking route in Nepal for both teahouse and organized.

 

Ghorepani trek offers a wonderful opportunity to witness the beauty of the Annapurna region with a shorter trek. This place is rich of hidden treasure of Nepalese culture and tradition. During the trek the trail passes through world’s famous ‘the Gorkha warrior’ clan the Gurung and Magar’s charming village, dense rhododendron (Nepalese national flower), Oak forest full of birds, green hills and patchwork valleys.

We also have time to explore the colourful and frenetic capital of Kathmandu.

Trips Details

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley (Swoyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square)
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara
Day 04 : Drive from Pokhara to Suikhet Phedi and hike to Dhumpus(1650m)
Day 05 : Trek from Dhampus to Landruk (1646 m)
Day 06 : Trek from Landruk to Ghandruk (1951 m)
Day 07 : Ghandruk to Ghorepani (2855 m)
Day 08 : Excursion to Poon Hill (3193 m AMSL, Duration: 3 hrs) and leisure day at Ghorepani
Day 09 : Ghorepani to Birethanti (1050 m)
Day 10 : Birethanti to Pokhara
Day 11 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 12 : Departure
